Japanese Garden
Japanese Garden
a japanese garden is comprised of three elements: rock, water and plants. some japanese gardens incorporate a fourth element: a handmade element. the purpose of a japanese garden, and its maintenance, is to provide peace and calm, renewal, discovery and to invigorate the soul.
i saw this scene from afar from a hiking trail in rocky mountain national park, and made my way towards it. as i reached the edge of the water, i was taken to a place of peace and calm, discovery at all of the elements surrounding this small wonderland, and a renewal of my spirit. i remained here for close to an hour soaking in the atmosphere and exploring with my eyes as time seemed to stop.
