sunflowers are a rite of passage in the denver area. there are certain farmers in a part of town that grow sunflowers in their fields, but the locations are kept super secret. it’s a shame in this day and age that posting locations will cause masses to come and disrespect a location as if it’s to be thrown away the following month.

this image was taken just after the peak of the sunflowers on this particular year. this sunset offered some nice, soft pastels among the sunflowers as they held on to life. a half hour after the sunset, as the light faded, thunderstorms erupted off to the west.
