sometimes, while walking through the mountains, i’ll happen upon a stream - or perhaps i’ve been walking along the stream and decide to stop and just stare at the light reflecting off the water as it meanders along to the lower elevations. i adored that twinkle from the reflected light in this scene, and while i don’t often leave the darks quite so dark in many of my photos, i felt it helped to enhance that twinkle a bit more. in the end, it made me think of a landslide of mud, hence the name. (plus landslide is a great song by fleetwood mac)
