this was the only image in the show that also had a painting in the show based off of this image. all other paintings were based on other images. i loved the overall flow of the water and the rocks. there’s a painterly feel to the image that is very pleasing to the eyes to me.
as is the case in many of the images in this project, the image was shot at a slower shutter speed using a 135mm lens, and hand held. typically i wouldn’t try this, but i wanted a softer feel to the images as i knew they’d be shown next to paintings.
