Two Bishops
Two Bishops
i’d spent three days in yellowstone national park with low clouds and flat flight. there are times that these weather scenarios can provide beautiful, moody images. on one of the last days of heavy fog and low clouds, i stood at my favorite campsite with my 100-400mm lens, looking for “smaller scenes” with the fog.
i loved this diagonal ridge and the two points - which appeared to me to be two bishops, looking out from the ridge and praying for the land. i made a number of images here, waiting for the “right” amount of fog and the “right” amount of ridge. this image was my favorite of the bunch.
